Hurdles Heroes is a track-and-field racing game where players compete in hurdle events against AI or other players. The goal is to finish each race first by perfectly timing jumps over hurdles placed along the track. Runners move forward automatically, and the player’s main task is to press the jump button at the exact moment to clear each obstacle without losing speed or falling.
Level Design and Increasing Speed
Each race track takes place in a different location, adding visual variety but keeping the mechanics consistent. As the race progresses, the speed increases, reducing the time players have to react before reaching each hurdle. Missing a jump slows the runner down significantly, giving opponents an advantage. Players need to maintain rhythm and precise timing to stay in the lead, especially in later races where mistakes are harder to recover from.
Competition and Replayability
The game supports both single-player mode and two-player split-screen, making it suitable for quick head-to-head matches. Tracks can be replayed to improve times or beat previous records. Since the control scheme is minimal, most of the challenge comes from reaction time and consistency. Hurdles Heroes encourages players to memorize jump spacing and develop a reliable rhythm to win races and unlock new tracks.
